Most of it goes unclaimed, or gets claimed and never used, because getting verified, licensed, migrated and trained takes time that ministries and small nonprofits don't have.
Tech Citadels does that work. We confirm what your organization qualifies for, get you verified with TechSoup and Goodstack, secure the software, build your email, website, streaming, giving and AI tools on top of it, and then stay on as your technology team.
Built with ministry in mind. We understand church budgets, volunteer teams and board accountability. We also work with organizations in the United States, Nigeria and the wider diaspora, and we know how the programs differ by country.
1. Eligibility & verification
We confirm which programs your organization qualifies for in your country and get you verified with TechSoup and Goodstack, the two organizations most vendors use to check nonprofit status.
2. Licensing & setup
We secure the donated and discounted licenses in your organization's name (you own them, always), then set up Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, your website, streaming, giving platform and AI tools, and train the people who will use them.
3. Ongoing care
A fixed monthly plan sized for church and small-nonprofit budgets: support, updates, security, and a quarterly review of what your programs are saving you.
The programs
What the programs typically include
The vendors publish these programs for verified nonprofits; our work is claiming them and making them run. Availability differs by country, and part of the eligibility step is telling you exactly which of these your organization can get.
- Microsoft 365 for Nonprofits: donated and discounted licenses, Teams, SharePoint, Copilot
- Google for Nonprofits: Google Workspace, YouTube Nonprofit Program, and the Google Ad Grants ($10,000/month in search advertising)
- Canva for Nonprofits, Zoom for Nonprofits, Adobe Acrobat for Nonprofits, Asana, Atlassian and others
- Cloud credits (AWS, Azure) for organizations running their own applications
Availability and terms are set by each vendor and vary by country. Tech Citadels is an independent provider and is not affiliated with TechSoup, Goodstack, Microsoft or Google.
Who we work with
We choose carefully, and so should you
We take on a limited number of organizations each quarter, and we choose carefully, because the programs only pay off for organizations ready to use them. We look for:
Registration alone is not enough, and size is not a barrier. A 40-member church with a functioning board and a clear mission is a better fit than a 4,000-member church with neither. If you are not there yet, apply anyway and we will tell you what to put in place first.
Legal standing: in your country: 501(c)(3) in the United States; CAC-registered NGO or incorporated trustees in Nigeria; a registered charity in the United Kingdom, Canada or Australia; or the equivalent wherever you are.
Real leadership and governance: a board or council that meets, and decision-making that does not depend on one person.
A clear mission: you can tell us who you serve and what you want to change.
Basic structure: named people (staff or volunteers) responsible for finance, communications and administration.
Readiness: a point person with time, and leaders who will show up for training.

The questions organizations ask before they fill in the form.
- What does it cost?
- A one-time setup fee and a fixed monthly care plan, both sized to your organization. We share the exact numbers when we reply to your application and walk through them at the scoping call, priced on what is actually left to do.
- Is this free money?
- No. The vendors give software, not cash. Our fee covers the work of getting it, setting it up and keeping it running. For most organizations the software is worth ten to fifty times our fee.
- Who owns the licenses?
- You do. Everything is registered to your organization. If you ever leave us, you keep everything.
- Do you take a percentage of grants?
- Never. Flat fees only.
- Does this work for churches in Nigeria?
- Yes. Microsoft, Google and most other programs are available to registered Nigerian nonprofits, and we work with the Corporate Affairs Commission registration you already have.
- We are a church plant with no board yet. Can we apply?
- Apply, and we will send you the short checklist of what to set up first. We would rather help you get ready than take your money before you are.
- What if we already have some of this?
- We audit what you have, claim what you are missing and fix what is not working. Setup is priced on what is actually left to do.
